About Image

We have had a number of Skype lessons over the last year or so, and I want to tell you it works great, especially when there never seems to be enough time in a day. The quality of the lessons are excellent and from the comfort of your home, how can you beat that? No traffic to worry about or weather and a bit more time to practice. I actual enjoy skyping lessons. Thank you Shawn for being flexible and finding ways to keep the learning experience fun and possible.

One might ask why would I take online music lessons over being with my instructor in person?

The answers are clearly around convenience. Preparation, travel time, and costs along with being in the comfort of your home, add value to the fact that the lesson quality is not lost. Do you live far from town and a good private teacher?  No problem.  Whether you have two homes or frequently travel for work or pleasure, you are able to take your lessons from anywhere with an internet connection.

And, it’s easy to arrange and pay for…

First, Contact Shawn at email address to schedule a time for your lesson (first lesson is free!)

Once we agree to work together – log back on to this website and go to the PRICING page and pay for your lesson or set of lessons (no refund for missed lessons)

Make sure you’ve got the latest version of Skype (Website) or FaceTime on your computer.

Shawn will call you at the scheduled lesson time (make sure you are logged onto Skype and prepared to learn)

You must give at least 24 hours notice in order to reschedule a lesson.  If you must cancel last minute or forget about your lesson, I will use your time slot to make a video lesson of the material we were scheduled to cover.  You’ll always get your lessons!

Another benefit of Skype lessons is you can easily record our sessions for future reference.
